This Ridglea Hills Area (some have it on their deeds as Ridglea South) had its beginnings in the early 50's but there never seemed to be any movement toward forming a neighborhood association. As the years went by many of the neighborhoods began to develop their Crime Watch programs, but no one took the reins to actually form a neighborhood association.

| In the year 2000 Sheryl -Cole Cornelius
began to pull the neighborhoods together to form an association to work
for the betterment of the neighborhood and to also draw into the group
our good neighbors in the closely adjacent area
of Ridglea West.

| Thus, on May 7, 2000 began the Ridglea
Hills Addition Neighborhood Association (RHANA.) The RHANA helps keep
neighbors aware of the things
happening in their area and gives them a voice for their opinions and wishes to the
proper city officials. It also assists any who are in need in the
area and can enjoy the camaraderie that should always be found in
neighborhoods. People working together, enjoying each other's
friendship, and keeping their neighborhood one of which to be proud. |
